PKX exists to celebrate that, strengthen it, and make sure the next chapter is shaped by the people who live, work and create here.
By connecting locals and supporting what’s already happening, PKX helps create more reasons for people to spend time in town and experience what makes Port Kembla unique.
We are building on the work of our incredible town by supporting and collaborating with existing community initiatives.
PKX works alongside the community to support the long-term health of the precinct by:

– Encouraging collaboration across the precinct
– Growing visitation and investment in a way that stays true to PK
PKX is funded by the NSW Government as part of the Uptown Grant Program.This funding helps support events, community projects and storytelling that highlight what makes Port Kembla special.The Uptown Program focuses on strengthening local precincts by supporting activity, connection and local growth. The funding supports and amplifies what’s already happening in Port Kembla.
